About this oil
Made from the finest white sesame seeds (til), pressed at low temperatures to preserve their natural antioxidants, vitamins, and delicate flavour. A light, golden oil with a mild nutty taste — perfect for everyday cooking, tempering, and as a base for traditional pickles. Rich in sesamol and sesaminol, both powerful antioxidants that give sesame oil its long shelf life.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use sesame oil for deep frying?
The cold-pressed variety has a moderate smoke point (~177°C). It is ideal for sautéing, tadka, and light frying, but we recommend not using it for repeated high-heat deep frying.
Is this the same as toasted sesame oil?
No. Toasted sesame oil (used in Chinese cooking) is made from roasted seeds and has a stronger, nuttier flavour. Our cold-pressed oil is made from raw seeds and is lighter in taste — better suited for everyday cooking.
